After the Regional Monitoring Committee (RBA) gave a positive decision on the “Building and Living Center” project of Lausitzer Technologiezentrum GmbH (Lautech GmbH) on June 1, 2022, and the federal government also gave its approval a little later, the official application for funding could be submitted to the Sächsische Aufbaubank (SAB) at the beginning of this year. Another important step towards the final implementation took place in March: All shareholders of Lautech GmbH (city of Hoyerswerda, city of Lauta, district of Bautzen) gave the necessary approval for the creation of this building technology real laboratory, which is to become an innovation lighthouse in the field of system construction and serial renovation. The “Building and Living Center” is to be built in the Zeißig industrial park. An existing hall will be converted for this purpose. As soon as confirmation of the subsidies is received, construction work can begin, ideally as early as this year.
