The Alliance for Skilled Workers of the District of Bautzen is a body that discusses and decides on regional and overarching measures to secure skilled workers in the district of Bautzen. The city of Hoyerswerda is a partner of this network. It is supported by the Saxon State Ministry of Economics, Labor and Transport through the Skilled Workers Guideline.
Shortly after Christmas, the returnee exchange "wiederda" takes place in Bautzen. Here, holiday returnees can find out about career prospects in their old homeland. The business development department of the city of Hoyerswerda is also regularly on site and presents companies of the city.
The marketing association Family Region HOY e.V. was founded at the end of 2019 based on the initiative of companies in the city. The marketing association’s goal: the positive external presentation and image improvement of the city. To this end, various measures are being implemented and the activities of the local players are being bundled.
